Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current

federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or

the Director of Laundry Services, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and that an adequate supply

of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Delegation of Authority

As a Laundry Worker, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your

assigned duties.

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in

accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the

Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

Delegation of Authority

As Director of Maintenance, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out

your assigned duties.

Job Functions

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.
